1. The Short Version
- There are no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email or password.
- Your uploaded log is encrypted as it arrives and permanently deleted one hour after upload, or sooner if you delete it.
- AI providers only receive aggregated statistics with secrets removed and IP addresses partially masked, never your raw file.
- We don't sell data, show ads or use tracking cookies.
2. What We Process
Log files you upload. The contents of the file, its name and its size. Logs may contain personal data such as IP addresses, usernames or email addresses. You should only upload logs you are entitled to share.
Questions you ask. The text of questions typed into “Ask Your Log”, used to generate an answer and not stored after the analysis is deleted.
Technical data. Your IP address is used briefly in memory to apply rate limits that protect the service. It is not written to our storage and is not linked to your uploads.
Live tail streams. Lines you stream to a live session are processed in memory only and never written to disk.
API keys for scheduled analysis. If you create an API key we store a hash of the key, its label, your alert rules, and your Slack, webhook or email destination (encrypted). So each run can be compared with the previous one, we also keep a short encrypted summary of the latest run of each log: its name, health score, error rate, event and incident counts, and the titles of any security findings. No log lines are kept. The key and everything attached to it are deleted when the key expires or when you delete it.
3. How Your File Is Stored
Uploads stream directly into encrypted storage using AES-256-GCM. Each analysis has its own key, derived from a server secret and an access key that is generated for your browser. The server stores only a fingerprint of that access key, so the stored data cannot be read without your link.
Results, the explorer index and the AI summary are stored the same way. There is no database of uploads or users.
4. How Long We Keep It
Every analysis, including the original file, stops being accessible 60 minutes after upload and is overwritten and deleted. To save energy the server sleeps when nobody is using it; files that expire while it sleeps are shredded the moment it wakes, before it answers any request, and stay unreadable in the meantime because only your browser holds the key. You can delete it earlier from the dashboard, from My Analyses or from Settings. Live tail sessions end after 30 minutes and keep nothing.
Downloaded PDF reports are stored only on your device.
5. AI Processing
When AI features are on, we send a compact summary of the analysis to two providers:
- Groq, to write summaries, root-cause hypotheses and answers to your questions.
- JEV by TypeSafe, to make structured decisions such as severity and urgency.
Before sending, we remove passwords, tokens, API keys, private keys, card numbers and email addresses, and mask the last two parts of IP addresses. When you ask a question, up to ten relevant log lines are included after the same redaction. You can turn AI off in Settings, in which case nothing is sent to these providers.
6. What Your Browser Stores
Your browser keeps your theme, preferences and a list of your recent analyses with their access keys in local storage. This never leaves your device except when you open an analysis. You can clear it at any time with “Forget This Browser” in Settings.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We don't sell or rent data. We share it only with the AI providers described above, with our hosting providers as needed to run the service, or when required by law. If you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the analysis until it is deleted.
8. Your Rights
Because we hold no accounts and delete everything within an hour, most requests are fulfilled automatically. You can delete any analysis immediately yourself. For questions about your data, contact hello@example.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
